RecruitFest! (Girls only!)
AS stated in the comments this discussion is over a year old BUT I still think the idea holds merit. However, as I demonstrated ever so admirably and transparently last year, I know nothing about scheduling pampering time. So any ladies love that stuff and wanna make this happen? Also this is a great place to post room shares too.
So I am totally going to RecruitFest! in September and I would like to maybe (preface: this is Susan KN and Rayanne's idea first off) get some girls together for some pamper or shopping or something time or a pedicure or SOMETHING. Who's down!?! Oh there is also yoga, see below (hotel link here)

Hey Maren, If I were a girl, I'd come hang with you. Not sure if you are into Yoga but on the saturday morning there is a class being organized. The instructor will come to the hotel for it.

I'd go, but the $220 to get in + the flight ($500+) + hotel ($200+) might hurt my discretionary spending :)

Dude, where are you finding your flights? Also, I think some of us gals might bunk up, you should find some guys. You don't want to miss this. Well,t he pedicure shopping girly stuff you might want to miss but the rest, no. . . A friend of mine told me to try sidestep, my flight was 269.

Maybe it's because I had a chance to talk with JD while he was in Minneapolis but while there will be the poker tournament and some other fun activities I expect that I will come back home and make a placement in the 60 days I would not have otherwise made because of what I learned during the sessions.
So $1,000 - $1,500 is a great investment.

Hey Joshua, I'll tell you what i will do and I am going to offer it up to everyone who comes to RecruitFest!
If at the end of the show, you come to me and say " Jason, I got nothing from the last day and a half. Really, it was not beneficial to me at all. I want my money back" or something to that effect, I'll give you $250 back.
In terms of the price of the event. It's not a lot of money. I have to charge something. Not because it has to make money but rather I need to know if people will pay for it. I don't think it should be free. RecruitingBlogs.com is free.
