RSM McGladrey's NYC offices seek an intelligent and highly driven Recruiter to focus on full life-cycle, experienced hire recruiting, mainly for our various audit groups. Qualified candidates will use their prior relevant experience (2-5 years experience, preferably in the finance or professional services industries) to:

Work with Hiring Managers to determine hiring needs and ensure that cost effective recruitment strategies are implemented to meet hiring requirements.

Develop and maintain a highly-qualified candidate pool through direct sourcing, job boards, networking, career events, employee referrals and preferred staffing agencies.

Review position requirements and, if necessary, develop and create job descriptions.

Screen, select, interview, and evaluate potential candidates including experienced hires.

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to employment.

Develop strong working relationships with the HR Team, EU leadership, Hiring Managers and candidates.

Utilize applicant tracking system effectively, entering candidate data and running management reports.

Additional HR or recruiting projects may be assigned including, but not limited to, planning and participating in networking events and assisting with campus recruiting efforts.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
• At least 2 years in a recruiting role required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of management and staff.
• Demonstrated skills using multiple recruiting resources such as referrals, direct sourcing strategies, job boards, agencies, and networking groups.
• Proficient using Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience using applicant tracking systems preferred.
• Must be independent, driven, and self-motivated.
