How do you find good candidates to market?

by calling them on the phone. I found that was always the best way.
I can appreciate that, thank you. But what I'm really curious about is how do you find them? For example do you specifically go out an look for a marketable candidate or do you use candidates from other positions you were not able to fill, or both? I was just curious to see how other recruiters went about doing this.
They will be a bi product of your cold calling. I think spending time looking for candidates you have orders for is a better use of your time instead of looking for candidates to make placements with
