Hey - I am evaluating ATS - Sendouts, Bullhorn, and MaxHire. What experiences have you had with them. Recommendations, advantages, disadvantages.

They are all good products. I have used Sendouts Pro and Bullhorn and Demo'd Maxhire too.
It really depends on your specific needs and budget and your business model. What are your most important criteria? In the past, I created a matrix of criteria and compared all products. I demo'd dozens of products and created a short list to demo with our sales and recruiting stakeholders then got detailed feedback. Lastly, I submitted my findings along with costs to our management. I remembered looking at the three you mentioned. Although I liked Sendouts Pro personally, the firm I worked for at the time chose Bullhorn. Also, we looked at VCG Webpas (SP?), and Bond (didnt like Bond), and a few others. Good Luck! PS...I may still have my old matrix somewhere, i will see about that later ;)
Thanks so much Michael. Excellent points to consider. appreciate it!

Great Stephen, thanks - will reorganize my criteria. If you find the matrix, I'd love to view it.
appreciate your input.

I will check at home office this weekend. If I cannot find, I will ring my ex-colleague to see if a copy is stored somewhere.
Jane,

We implemented Bullhorn about 9 months ago and I think our entire recruiting team is happy with it's functionality. There are some tools that it has (like calculating commissions and the ability to enter timesheets) that we don't use yet, but as an ATS for storage and searches it works well.

It is accurate when parsing resumes into the system and easy to use when posting jobs on your website.

Be aware that even though the e-mail looks like MS Outlook it does lack some of that functionality. Also it lacks some sales tracking functionality, but there are enough fields to customize that will allow for the tracking of that activity.

Jane,

If you're interested, I'd be happy to show you Avature's Recruiting CRM. It has the deep web mining and research tools of some of the point solutions - Broadlook, TalentHook, AIRS, etc. - combined with ATS work flow and relationship management tools like email campaigns, SMS opt-in campaigns, etc. It's a SaaS delivery and due to the unique combination of server-side Java EE and client-side JavaScript/JSON it very light weight for fast asynchronous communication and multi-layer business logic. You can check it out online at http://www.avature.net/technology/recruiting-crm/. I would be more than happy to provide a demo as well. mike@avature.net or 503-334-0834.

Thanks,
Mike
