Hi all,

I just have a question about the effectiveness of swag or free stuff.

1) Does your company provide swag to candidates? If so, what kind of items do you provide and what is the effectiveness?

2) What is the average you or your company spend on swag per year? What is your return on investment?

Although I realize swag is used to promote a company and get your name out there among candidates...how effective is it if a candidate can go to various staffing companies and pick-up free items and not ever return.

Swag is branding. It's not necessary, but if it's something you want to do it can be fun. I don't think it is very effective though. When I was with a larger agency they did a lot with swag, more for clients though than for candidates.
