Hi Ari,

 

Our e-recruitment/ATS solution Konetic Recruit, has text messaging built in.

Candidates can opt in or opt for text messages when they register, you can also send ad hoc or bulk SMS communications to candidates very easily. We use this at various stages of an application, including our vacancy monitor (which alerts candidates when a suitable vacancy is published, if they've subscribed to alerts).

 

We also find text messaging is very useful to alert candidates about job interviews and offers - combined with an email, this is a very effective way of ensuring they never miss an opportunity.

We partner with JobRooster to provide candidates with text message job notifications.  JobRooster is integrated with several applicant tracking systems and their pricing is on a per job basis.

We use icims and I can't find any information about text messaging options on their Help site.  Other than that though, it's a great system.  (And competitively priced, too!)

SMS Texting is a newer feature for US recruiting, but has proved to be tremendously successful, with some staggering statistics:

• 94% read rate
• 20% response rate within 20 minutes
• 60 - 80% total response rate

Full disclosure, I work at Bullhorn where we have a Marketplace partner who provides SMS texting capabilities to the Bullhorn customer base.  Customers leverage SMS to notify candidates of open req's,  see who available for open contracts or temp labor, time card reminders and internal PR of new employees.  Most texts are under $.08 per contact and responses are automtically tracked inside the Bullhorn ATS.

SmartSearch ATS integrates with http://www.texthub.com/ and http://www.redoxygen.com/ - you can ask them what other ATS they integrate with.
