I guess long are the days when you would come across a company directory of a company you wanted to recruit from and get really excited about it. Or, finding a place on the net with a detailed list of people who attended a conference full of people you knew you could place and getting really excited about it.
It's because that data is everywhere now and maybe as a result, not enough time is dedicated to sitting back, closing your eyes and saying, I am 100k richer because of this find. I think LinkedIn stole some of that closed eye recruiter euphoria.
Maybe with LinkedIn's new recruiting tool
, I found as a result of a post from Kristen Durkin
on twitter, LinkedIN is trying to give back a little excitement to those who will pay. After all, it is very valuable information. I am sure though, people will find a way around it.
