As recruiters, we always say that we want "the truth" from our candidates. However is that really the case? If a candidate stated in an interview, "I hate my current job which is why I'm looking for a new one," or "My boss is an idiot," or "I want to work here becasue I've been laid off for 6 months, I just want to work." These types of responses are honest BUT they will be used against the candidate. Instead we teach them to respond with the "canned" responses that we then say we don't like.
So RB family, would you really like it if candidates were 100% honest?
