I was having a conversation with a colleague the other day about different approaches to building our LinkedIn networks. We got onto the topic of how to build out our networks in a specific geographic region and were kind of at a loss for specific techniques or approaches.

Since I am looking to relocate to a new city in a few months, the subject has real implications for me. So, I'd love to hear of ideas from this forum for how to go about building your network in one specific region. Any and all ideas would be deeply appreciated.
