Utilizing pretty much any version of Outlook (not express) and Microsoft Word using an Excel spreadsheet with the contacts, can allow you to mail merge an email.

On the ocassions when we have wanted to mass email (like a christmas greeting), we did this, and it would appear in the email to each have been sent individually to each contact, (rather than bcc).

Unfortunately if your ISP limits the total amount of emails, or bandwidth, or size of emails, that is another issue for another day.

Hi nate, thank you for the tip. can you describe your method? how do u merge the email list from word with excel? i appreciate your answer.
