My rant today is to celebrate the birth forty years ago of Mr. Dave Mendoza. If you have not had the opportunity to meet Dave, had a conversation or simply interacted online, you are seriously missing out. Dave is the most well-connected individual that I know. And he cares about you. Really.

Well said Rayanne. Dave is one of a kind and has always been so kind to me. Whether I'm vacationing at his house, meeting up with him at a conference or just yapping on the phone with him, he always makes me laugh and learn. Don't let the cool exterior fool you, he's a smartypants.

I love really smart, they "get it" people. It takes three minutes on the phone to know that Mendoza "gets it" and he can say so. He could probably sell those Mojitos in the middle of a Baptist convention. Happy 40th Dave. To a lot of the world you just got old enough to have good sense. :)
