Just curious.  I placed a candidates who had one in 2005.  He had about 200 patents and was the leading scientific authority in a multibillion dollar marketplace. Still waiting for the next one.  I was pretty thrilled with the fee (which we discounted to $151,000), but it's more common than I thought.

One of our quieter new employees let us know that she had closed a deal with a $200,000 fee.  So, what's the best way to make it happen more often?  Seems like it could be worth discussing.
