My thinking is that any recruiter not willing to shell out the little membership fee per month can't be too serious about their business (if they are recruiting mid-senior level white collar professionals.) You just can't beat Linkedin and Linkedin knows it. ;)
I can see them continuing to put greater restrictions on search and communications in the future. I'm more interested though in their real premium recruiter service and how they evolve that model as either a standalone web service or some kind of ATS-integrated data and communication service. Also interested to see how they change their pricing model to prep for their widely anticipated IPO.

But it will be interesting to see how they change up this product. If they tiered that service in pricing AND integrated with internal systems, it would be a must have.
Irina Shamaeva said:Yes, the recruiter account is a whole different beast. No connections or networking - you just see and are in touch with all 70 Mln members, period (my understanding). Costs thousands of dollars. Not affordable for anybody but giants. What is ROI? I don't know.
