For all the independent recruiters what are some of the things you did to market your business to clients to get a job order?

What I find that works best is to find out what they are hiring for and send them resumes of candidates that fit the jd perfectly (of course omitting any of my candidates personal info as well as listing the current and previous employer confidental)!!!! If they are interested they will bite trust me.
