With my most recent blog Just Walk Away, I thought it would be fun to ask everyone if they have had an experience with a candidate when you maybe looked past some red flags only to get burned in the end. We can all look back on these and learn from these stories, and maybe how to avoid them in the future.
What was the situation?
At what point should you have walked away from the candidate?
What lesson did you learn after it was all over?

A funny learning experience I had was when I called into a very large Recruiting firm looking for their top biller. When I located her, I called to introduce myself. After the introduction she immediately responded by asking, “How did you get her number???”
I learned from her response, that at a big agency you don’t have to be a good Headhunter to be a top biller.
