Needing recommendations on Background / Emp Check verification

Hey Everyone! I just recently joined a start-up org as Dir of Recruiting and am still drinking from the firehouse! Fun, challenging and a lot to do. Any recommendations on background check and employment verification companies you've used? I'm familiar with HIreRight and Lexus Nexus of course -and I know there are many more. We're <100 employees, hiring mode high but still limited.

We're a very small start up firm and after looking around, we decided to use HireRight. The pricing is about the same as all the others and I know that some very large corporations who take security very seriously currently use it. If it's good enough for Brinks, it's good enough for us.
