Good day fellow Recruiters! My name is Jai and I'm an Agency Recruiter at a scientific staffing firm in Houston, TX. I have about close to 3 years of recruiting experience and I would consider myself "good - average", but of course, I am always trying to get better and better. I do contract, temp-to-perm, and direct placements. I do love recruiting as a profession and I am always looking for ways to improve my recruiting methods. Sooo one of my biggest professional goals for 2013 is to deepen my recruiting methodology and efforst to make recruiting an expertise and not just a career/job. I am a devoted and loving wife to a great and supportive husband and the mother of a vibrant, hyper, yet beautiful "almost" 5 year old little diva.
So since I have introduced myself - I would like to pose 2 questions and hopefully I can get some great answers and stimulate some dialogue:
1. What are the top 5 things that a Recruiter gets when receiving a job order (I love looking at different processes of how we do things)?
2. Do you think that the new career trend is "recruiting"? Is the recruiting industry becoming saturated with people flocking to the field? What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks!

Welcome to the RBC Jai. Lots of good recruiters on this forum to respond to your questions. As for #2? I always think that from time to time, but only the good survive. Thanks for being part of the community.
