Which do method do you use the most when searching for a candidate with a specific background...Old school sourcing where you call up the company and ask for the title, or Monster, LinkedIn, etc.

Permalink Reply by John Kreiss on October 19, 2011 at 8:43am @Chris I've found that good-old fashioned phone sourcing still works well. Lots of recruiters hate it, but I know it works. I also like LinkedIN.
References on resumes are often good sources, and good leads for phone sourcing additional candidates.
Personally, I've never found Monster to be very useful. That's been my experience. I hope it helps.
