My company is currently evaluating all of the tools we as recruiters use on a daily basis to be successful. I believe the best tool available may be one we are NOT using or never heard of. So I wanted to pose the question to my fellow recruiters. WHAT IS THE ONE RECRUITING TOOL YOU COULD NOT GO WITHOUT?

salesforce database with heavy use of tagging for skillsets
wordpress to power website / job listings with automatic feeds to indeed
linkedin recruiter for finding people / linkedin status updates
my own platform at hiresignals.com for sitting on top of linkedin and understanding candidates' job search status and interests
Google docs for tracking searches
Permalink Reply by Ashley Ryall on July 23, 2012 at 12:56pm I agree with Chris Hayes; Google can offer a wealth of information about prospective client companies (news, website, career pages, company updates, people and contact information). Also, industry specific content makes me that much more knowledgeable than my competitor when I am able to speak to the current trends of the industry where my client lives. I can't live without Google to improve my employer brand.
