Problem: Recruiting Blogs Profile & Posts Showing Up On Google Searches

Hmmm. I'm reluctant to use my real name and website, etc. here because if a potential client googles my name or company, my life on RecruitingBlogs.com shows up. That seems unprofessional as this if for shoptalk behind the door. It just doesn't seem good for the "brand" I'm trying create for myself. Suggestions?

At the same time, I realize that it can be used to drum up google hits, but then my posts here who serve an duplicitous purpose. Suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
JT

That's why it is wise to think twice before posting here, to make sure that whatever you 'say' is something you wouldn't mind viewed by anyone, potential client or candidate.

Also, you could look at it as an opportunity to brand yourself as an expert in what you do, if you are strategic about what you choose to respond to and your word choice.

Another option, is to post something, but delete it later on, so there is no permanent record.
Thanks. Maybe tow identities: The Recruiter and the Industry Expert. JT
