As a recruiter - would you rather take on a search competing with 2-3 other search firms at a fee of 20-25% or have an exclusive search at a lower fee (ex. 17%)?

It wasn't a difficult guess after she started posting about the EEOC and the evils of hiring Independent Contractors.

Pitiful sick troll.

Play the percentages.  4 agencies on one req?  You're always flirting with 0%.  Exclusive agency?  It will always be 100%.

The next question is volume.
Retained all day long.  To do the job effectively, maintain a superior level of service and truly offer value add, one must complete an extensive due diligence process and show the client what and how you differ from everyone else in the field.  The issue with recruiting is the low barrier to entry, anyone can do it and most are poor at it.  If you have the chance to remove yourself and seperate you from the competition, than do it.  When you get that chance however, move with diligence.  Impress the client with extras.  And the next time you will get the retainer at the higher rate.

You are correct my posts are serving the site.  I'll let everybody do their own research.  Why two profiles with name spelled differently?  Why different levels of experience?  Why no picture?  Why no working phone number.  It's a fun game to play with a fake.  So have you been in recruiting for 2 to 4 years or 10 to 14 years?  Will the real Dalberg/Dahlberg please stand up.

I've been a recruiter a long , long time.  I know when there is one of those dogs that just don't hunt.  People have patterns.  let's hear some more about how you get bullied ,poor baby, or the EEOC or independent contractors or credit checks on employees.  Those are your fav subjects.  Glad your meds are working again the spelling has improved or are two or you writing these different posts?  :)
