We're releasing our new Annual Bullhorn Recruiting Trends Report in a few weeks and one of the things we found from surveying 1,800 recruiters was that 16.7% of all respondents were able to place candidates they found on Facebook versus only 12.7% for Twitter. And given that only half of respondents used Facebook for recruiting at all last year, that's not a bad success rate.
Wow, I am surprised Vinda has seen so much Facebook success. I have had zero placements from Facebook. I tried a few times. 17% is not shabby.
I definitely need to learn more.
I've found that candidates don't want to be contacted on FB. I get some bristly responses and a bit of paranoia about what I can see on their profile.
zero - curious on how others do it.
