I've got two placements starting today for a large Government client in Northern VA.

2 so far for 2012, and looking at several final interviews being done by the 12th. And we have 2 new clients, which is exciting! I hope to see this continue all year, and trying to be sure we're working smarter each day.

We closed a deal the 2nd day back in the office.  It's going to be a great 2012!!

1 being background checked today.  Job reqs are pouring in from clients i have been working with in the last year and several from clients i have not even talked to in four or five years..  I don't know how the whole year is going to shake out but it looks to me like we are going to have a strong salmon run between now and about late March.  I am striking while the iron is hot.

As a corp recruiter my world is a little different but I was surprised to have 10 interviews scheduled (10 different candidates!) for a variety or roles the week between Christmas and New Years! Just extended 3 offers this week alone. Latest rumor is that 1Q will offer up 170 new reqs... any contract recruiters in Seattle open to a 3-6 month gig?  :)

I have 2 in the books and 5 pending.  I personally had the busiest December in my 25 year career.  3 placements in Dec is unheard of in our office.  We are usually as slow as Molasses until the end of January.  I'm very optimistic about 2012.

4 of us in my office went up to the board this week to record a placement! Great start to the new year. We are crazy busy with new reqs.

Internal recruiter - I had 3 new hires start on our first day back, and I had an offer accepted the 2nd day back in the office!  Plus I have phone interviews booked all day today, and Hiring Manager interviews booked all day Friday...hooray for hiring!
