QUICK QUESTION ...

We are debating some statistics in our office, and you might be able to help us.

HOW MANY RESUMES / BIOS ARE CURRENTLY IN THESE DATABASES?

1. Monster
2. CareerBuilder
3. HotJobs
4. Dice
5. Ladders
6. LinkedIn

For each database, the answer is a simple number, like "X million."

In December, Sherman Hu of LinkedIn said that LI now has 34 million bios. I have a ton of respect for Sherman, and he should know. But perhaps someone could add some color to Sherman's number. IE, Shally is pretty good at noting duplicates, etc.

Sherman just emailed me: LinkedIn is up to 35 million members.

Monster has collected a total of: 76,977665 resumes total

Of those 24,809,362 of them are currently active (seekers have an option to take their resume down for a short period of time or make them inactive)

Over the last month we have had 18,024,322 unique visitors and 166,806,328 job searches have been conducted.
