My company was approached by these guys and I wanted to perform my due diligence before "moving this up the ladder."
This is the message we received:
My name is Matt Kazmierczak and I wanted to let you know about our new business with a new concept for recruiters. Please take a look at our website www.recruitingassurance.com to learn about how you can offer your clients a 12 month guarantee on all permanent placement candidates. We insure your search fees so you don’t have to pay your clients back if your placement leaves.
Has anybody used these guys? Are there similar companies out there? How much do you think they charge?

There was another thread here on this topic and I think the fees were discussed. Something like 10% of the placement I think, so several thousand dollars. Since very few placements should 'fall off', this could be quite a lucrative business for the insurance company. Not sure how much it would benefit you though to give up that much of a placement that is more than likely going to stick anyway. Also, I don't understand why you'd want to even offer a 12 month guarantee. The recruiter's job is to find the best person, and then once that person is hired, it's up to the company to retain them. Some could view this as a marketing tool to give you an edge, but in reality it won't. Most companies are going to hire who they want to hire. Something like this will just complicate things and seems like an unnecessary expense. That's just my opinion though.
