I am looking for an easy to use resume parsing tool that I can download and/or by that sits on my PC. I do not want another monthy subscription.
I use act as a CRM and I would love to be able to parsea resume from Job Boards, linkedIn, personal website, and Email. It would be great if it connected to ACT! but that's not a have to have.
If you have something that fits the description, please share :)

Hi Danny,
Our resume parsing tool - ResumeGrabber JobSuite - does exactly what you are looking for.
It is a desktop tool that many recruiters use to
=> accurately parse and extract candidate information from job boards, search engines, social networking sites and email folders as well
=> automatically screen and transfer the extracted resume data to ACT!
You can download the free trial version from: http://www.egrabber.com/TU4230497
I will be happy to organize a free product demo, if you find this interesting. We can show you how to parse resume data from various sources and import them into ACT!.

Other tools include Daxtra, RChilli, Burning Glass, Sovren, and Hireability.

Rchilli did not do what I needed. I will try the others you mentioned and report back as I have results.

Here is a link for an extremely accurate parsing tool, Contact Capture. Its primary uses are on a live web page, email signature or an excel file. To use it, just highlight all the information, click "CTRL+C+C" And thats all. From there, u can export the parsed data directly into CRM. The entire process takes less then 1 minute seconds. Email me for any help on using the tool mvespa@broadlook.com http://www.broadlook.com/products/contact-capture/
Hope this helps!
