I know it..., I can't believe it either.  Where did 2011 go?  It seems to have flown by, but when I look back at it realistically?  There was a heckuva lot packed into those 365 days.  And I am kinda glad 2012 will have one more day in it than 2011.

What will you do with that extra day that Leap Year provides? 24 extra hours.  1,440 extra minutes.  I plan on making them count.

2011 personally was my best year ever!  My work flowed, Broadbean US had many successes.  My family and I settled nicely into our new location in Laguna Beach; my kids even learned how to surf. It was my first year in the last ten that I didn't do any theater, none.  My youngest child started high school. And I did something I never thought I would ever do again.  I fell in love.  And eleven months later on Christmas Eve, I became engaged.  Wow.  Yep, what a year!

I started writing Bonus Track at Blogging4Jobs on August 1.  Prior to that, Bonus Track had been featured here on RecruitingBlogs.com since Feb of 2009.  That is a lot of writing. I lost track after 750 posts, but I think I will be close to 1000  by Leap Year.  I took a breather this week and will be posting lightly next week.  I thought I would share my top ten posts for 2011on this our last Friday of the month and year...

10.  The unDirty Dozen - 13 Tips to Get an Interview
Tips to get your resume and/or application noticed based on your character and ethical behavior.

9.  5 Pivotal Questions to Ask or Answer During the Hiring Process
This list was devised to prevent last minute candidate fall-out and control the spin of the interviewing and hiring process.  So, either side can use this list to streamline the process and ask or answer pivotal questions.

8.  Social Media is the Ice Breaker, Not the Party
Here’s the thing, as much as most of us LOVE social media, as much as we engage…, there isnothing like a face-to-face greeting or meeting.

7.  Wisdom Gained
What will you think of yourself and your flawed judgment twenty years from now?

6.  Sorry, But I am sick to Death of Email Marketing
Interestingly enough, as a marketer, I am extremely adverse to email marketing.  I know that most emails are OptIn, but what I struggle with, like most, is spam and I have no desire for my carefully-crafted message to be lumped in with spam or to end up on the cutting room floor with the others before me...

5.  A Tiny Ripple of Hope
Remembering a neighbor who served in World War II and all those who sacrificed more than I could possibly understand...

4.  Quitting a Job and Moving On
I left a job I thought I would retire from... on principle.  Merely, on principle and it was the best thing I could have done...

2.  Boob Job Confessions
Yep, it is exactly what it sounds like.

1.  I Lost My Home, Like Hundreds of Thousands of Others.
Taking the fear out of talking about foreclosure and letting go of the past.  It isn't easy, but it is worth it...

Now, Bring on 2012- I'm ready!
