For me, Linkedin has proven to be a great tool both for Marketing and Recruitment purposes. I've grown my network over the years and making an advanced search targeting my 1st degree connections alone can be surprisingly effective. Through my LI, i've actually re-connected with some people who I have not spoken to in years by just sending a "what's up, how are you" letter. A number have actually resulted to being good leads for our staffing services.
