Thought I would introduce myself and apologize for any mis-steps I may have taken during my first forays at blogging and the applications on this site. LOL
I am a veteran of both the agency and corporate recruiting/HR world, as well as having run two start up's, one that was very much like Linkedin in early 2002. I was VP of Global Recruiting at Nortel during the boom and was sad to see the company dismantled just recently.
I have strong opinions, am an innovator and require lots of proof to be moved from my initial position but with strong arguments and persistence I will change my mind and become your biggest booster.
On the personal side I am a father of three amazing adopted girls, am very much into sports and have run Boston as well as a 2:52 marathon while in my 40s and all that at 210lbs. Love to read, kayak and cook and actually think I would be a chef if I had come to realize it earlier on in life.
So please accept my wrinkles and battle scars for what they are and I look forward to learning from this great community.
Best

I look forward to some further give and take!

Ditto what Bill and Tim said. And don't worry about being accepted here in the RBC. The battle-scars come and go with the territory of recruiting. We all have them and recognize them in others.
Look forward to your word(s) of wisdom, humor, fallibility, and hope for the future.
