I've seen a few of you on Empire Avenue, it brings a gaming element to social media by calculating a score for how well you connect in social media outlets (facebook, twitter, linkedin, flickr, youtube, your blog, etc).
These scores help decide the price and you are traded on this social stock exchange.
When more people buy your stock, your price also rises.
This is another way to connect online, but it has a hidden value. It is a great gauge for how social you have been online, allowing you to see your strengths and weaknesses, in addition to motivating you to be more social.
Check it out, and if you sign up.. buy my stock :)

This may in fact be the final straw for me. Watching people (who I've only "known" via Twitter or Facebook) jump on this piece of junk - make me lose any respect I may have had (or thought I had) for them.
Absurdity. Absolutely absurd.....

You aren't finding a cow or offing somebody, you are connecting with people and building relationships.
