My name is Tim and I am a Storage Wars addict. Why do I watch this rubbish? Please someone tell me there is a recruiting lesson to be learned here somewhere, or at least let me know I am not alone.
Whew - feel better already getting that off my chest.

Permalink Reply by Valentino Martinez on September 14, 2011 at 7:14pm UPDATE: Past episode that left a mark on my psyche...Barry brought the Psychic Sisters to the auction to "sense" storage treasure...causing Dave to leave in a huff. Naturally Darrell is enjoying the near fight between Barry and Dave. Funny. Storage Wars is elevating to the level of Soap Opera. Darrell bought a large dresser mirror of $3.00. Good Deal. Later, Barry finds what appears to be a wig in a cooler—it’s actually five shrunken heads (DEAD HEADS actually). Jarrod and Brandy Aced it with collector toys valued at $14K approx.

My burning question about Storage Wars is: Are the lockers staged for entertainment purposes? I cannot believe that the storage place owners don't knock-off locks on abandoned storage lockers to see what's in them before it goes to TV Land...especially if there is REAL TREASURE in one. Isn't this a bit like "Professional Wrestling"?
