This is a question for consultants / managers / directors who have experience of working on both sides of the pond.
We are at the early stages of expanding our recruitment business to the US and I wanted to find out if the actual recruitment process at a basic level (i.e placing quality candidates in organizations) differs in the USA or if it is essentially the same as the UK process. For example, do HR play a more prominent role, are PSLs relied upon more, can recruiters get access to line managers etc etc.....
If anybody has any information on this or can share their experiences / observations of differences / similarities, it would be much apperciated.
