With a record number of job seekers anxiously and urgently searching applying for their next opportunity, I post the question... What do recruiters want from job seekers, that would make finding and considering them easier and more efficient.

It's like dating, they want what they can't have.
Please feel free to check out my blog at http://sweens.wordpress.com where I have attempted to address some of the issue that can arise from your question.

As a recruiter, I think what most recruiters are looking for is the perfect candidate. Candidates who are in the stage you have described (anxiously searching) have a generic resume and submit this resume to numerous applicatons. Candidates need to take the time to effectively have their resume reflect that which is described in the job description in order to draw attention to their resume. With a larger number of applicants on the street at the moment, recruiters are seeing a high volume of resumes and are thus working with a larger candidacy pool.

Candidates should be aiming to seperate their resume from the others that are applying for any given job.
