- the fee
- the jobs
- the people on the site
- the system itself
- or just a multitude of things
Permalink Reply by Chris on March 16, 2009 at 5:02pm In my opinion, the main issue with BJ is that it discourages direct contact and relationship building with the clients...and this is presented to clients as a 'benefit' that they don't have to 'talk' to those pesky recruiters. They can simply use BJ as a buffer and have it just be a gateway for resumes....and since they also insist on the candidate contact data being on those resumes, BJ is also building quite the database....and no one is really sure what they intend to do with that data.
I don't hear much about people actually making placements with BJ, just lots of headaches....clients gathering resumes for jobs that sometimes 30+ recruiters are engaged on and then never filling the job or responding to questions or giving feedback.
And then taking 25% of the total fee.
