When you say 'Google', I will take it that you mean webcrawl &/ search via deep and typical web.

For that I'd have to say, I never Google for resumes. Typically, I want people in specific posts, in specific companies and/or specific industries.

If I need a CFO, CIO or CEO, then I need to find a specific set of talents and experience and the most desirable to my clients have almost always been from those who are currently in those posts in other firms. True they may have a CV posted somewhere, but it's easier to locate related industry leaders, suppliers of competitors, alliance partners of competitors who have people with the right skill sets, work ethics and desire to move onwards and upwards.
