Looking for help with boolean string to track federal stimulus spending by state- possible?

  • Rating: No Rating
Hi all. I've never felt a need to join this group previously, but today a question came up and I was glad to know this resource existed. I think I'll have to add a blog post soon for RBC about all the ways this community has assisted or benefited me personally... Good space in here. If you get a chance, pass on some good thoughts, vibes, words to JD.

Anyhow... here's my situation: I'd like to provide my sales department with a boolean string that they could use either in a google alert or just a search that will help them stay up to date on federal spending in their markets. We operate in horizontals, not verticals, so will be focused on finding out which organizations/industries will be affected by federal stimulus in ME, NH, VT, and RI.

Can anyone offer a boolean search string that would help with this, but wouldn't return a ton of 2007 or 2008 items? Thanks for any help you're willing to share!

As always, feel free to check in regularly at The RECRUITING FRONT LINES

Jason:

This site should help you: http://www.recovery.gov/

If you just Google "stimulus spending" states (or you can insert the states) - it may be faster- I found this link that should help:

Here's another: http://www.businessweek.com/blogs/money_politics/archives/2009/01/a...
