I am new to the group and I haven’t yet read through all of the discussions. With that confession over with, can anyone tell me whether any consensus has emerged as to which CRM software solution is the top pick for small recruiting operations?

I am extensively using WizTalent Recruiting Software, Its fast, simple and integrated Monster.com, Dice.com, CB and LinkedIn into single interface.. I am happy to be a part of this recruiting tool.

Is anyone using Dynamics CRM? I would be interested in sharing roll-out best practices and pain points.

Oh, I'm interested. Considering I am leading my company's development of a CRM/data mining suite. Though I haven't seen much discussion of whether it's "better" to have a web based CRM like Salesforce or an application based CRM such as sage's Act, or a reasonable hybrid that incorporates enterprise PIM functionality with secure distributed data mining.

Charles, it's not specific to any product or firm. If you're interested in the use of CRM systems for recruiting then it's a group for discussing issues, ideas, concerns, best practices, etc.

I am a little confused by this group. Is this a place to discuss issues related to CRM applications with recruiters or is this a group dedicated to a CRM application firm to flog its wares?

Too bad there are no good studies that I have seen that compare value of pipelining verse not pipelining. For example comparing the cost of hire for Pharmacist (Walgreens vs CVS vs Longs vs Costco vs WalMart). No doubt the best pipeliners have the lowest cost per hire... even though the time to hire may be significantly longer.
