Congratulations, Ben and to all the members in the DC Area Recruiters group on achieving the first milestone over 100 in the group. I am sure this is just a beginning and there are many more achievements ahead. The ERE Networking Meet is a good platform to celebrate the milestone. I am sure ERE will do its best in covering most aspects on the event in terms of pictures and highlights. This will be my first time at an event like this and I will send you some of the highlights of the event that you can post after the event.

As much as I would of liked to be at the ERE Networking Event this Thursday, a very special person's birthday will be a priority for me that evening.

Typically when I go to events like this, I like to get some video, some pictures, and do a brief recap. It would be great if a member of this group could pick up my slack and share with the RB community what the evening's event was like.

For all of you who will be attending, have a great time!

Thank you Ben for the invite. I am looking to get back into the recruiting field. I have a stay at home mom for the past 4 years or so. I have 5 years of recruiting experience in both the corporate and staffing industry. Thanks for starting this blog for the DC/VA market.

Joe - Thanks to you (and to everyone here as well) for joining this group. This is the 15th largest group on RecruitingBlogs currently, and the largest regional group by far.

Moving forward, I hope everyone will share and contribute more (I need to do more myself), to hopefully make this an even more valuable place to come and network. I hope everyone can make it to the ERE happy hour on the 26th too. Unfortunately I can't make it myself that night (a very special person's birthday). Should be a lot of fun though.
