SUMMARY:
This position will provide human resources generalist support to all employees located at the Kent, WA. site to include operations, sales and marketing, quality, information technology, and other various functions. Responsibilities for this position include the coordination and administration of human resources policies and programs relating to staffing and recruiting, affirmative action and diversity, training and organizational development, legal and regulatory compliance, and employee and labor relations. In addition, this position will work closely with operational management in support of business objectives as well as union leadership in the administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
• Administers various human resources programs and policies for all Kent, WA. site employees; assists in development and implementation of local human resources policies and procedures.
• Conducts and administers recruitment effort for all nonexempt, internships, temporary workers; oversees the onboarding process and conducts onboarding training to all new hires.
• Coordinates with hiring managers in strategy, interviewing, and hiring process; maintains and updates the recruiting tracking database (SuccessFactors); conducts reference and background checks.
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
• Maintains the affirmative action program; ensures site EEO-1 report is filed accurately and annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO/OFCCP regulations.
• Conduct employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing; assist in planning, organizing and implementing various employee relation programs. Coordinate and assist in the administration of employee relations surveys; provide feedback to management on employee related issues and/or concerns.
• Represent the company in community activities and promote a good company representation.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
