Company Description Our client is an experienced vendor in the telecommunication market with 20 years of field experience with Tier-1 customers located around the world. Their portafolio includes: Carrier Ethernet + Transport (CE+T) switches, among others (MPLS based portafolio). They are expanding their operations and are looking for a Technical Sales Manager based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Job Description The role: Reporting to the Country Manager based in Sao Paulo, You will be responsible for: • Developing a clear understanding of new and existing technical requirements throughout the sales cycle • Maintaining customer relationship on daily bases. • Supporting presales and sales activities, customer meetings, workshops, POCs and tenders submission. • Providing training, knowledge transfer, support and information to the regional sales and channels. • Working directly with product management and engineering to provide input from customers / field and to act as focal point for product operations back to the customers.
Skill Required • University Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications. • Strong technical knowledge on: Ethernet, MPLS, Bridges @ Routers, IP, ATM, WDM, SDH, Telephony • Experienced as a Presales Engineer in the telecom industry • Available to travel within Brazil and other countries. • Excellent communications skills; professional presentation skills; self-starter; cooperative attitude; team player.
