I’ve recently encountered a situation with a new client. A candidate I placed there has resigned a week after the guarantee period (which was 6 months). They are now requesting either a free replacement or a credit. Technically, they’re not entitled either as the guarantee expired a week before. Any advice as to how to handle this would be greatly appreciated!

In my experience if this was a ongoing customer, I would get them a free replacement as a act of goodwill. Good luck
Thanks for your advice Sue! I'd hate to lose this client and was also considering giving them a free replacement.
