I always leverage an employer’s location when I’m in the wooing process with key candidates. Overlooking or neglecting what are location assets, e.g., (in no particular order) great schools (all levels), affordable housing; entertainment/nite-life – great restaurants & shopping; churches, historical landmarks; professional sports teams (home of World Series & Super Bowl Champs make an impression on some); weather; Arts/Museums, Zoo, corporate world headquarters, great airport, etc…can hurt the recruitment effort.
