Look before you leap -- learn and begin to know your limitations -- and always be trying to improve on them will help you through most assignments and position you well for the really tough challenges.
Set your goals high but be sensitive to over-promising and pursuing unreachable goals for yourself, and/or your team. Making your goals unreachable will do harm on many levels – sometimes at a price you cannot afford to pay or recover from.
Good recruiters will always be in great demand but we all pay a price for unmet goals, shoddy practices and crash & burn experiences due to a lack of common sense and/or ethics.
