Ademar Cechelero Couto joined Odgers & Berndtson in 2004. Holding a Director position, he is responsible for handling the projects related to clients of the financial area. Ademar has a Business Administration degree, having graduated at the FGV, with postgraduate specialization in Finance from the same college. He took his MBA , majoring in Finance at the New York University (NY - USA) in 1992, having also partaken at the 'Investment Banking Program'of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University, Chicago, USA - 1999) and several other courses in Brazil, the US, and France. He speaks fluent English and French, besides his native Portuguese.
Ademar's professional background has been entirely in large size multinational financial institutions, having occupied top management and director positions at companies like Societé Générale, Crédit Agricole, Chase Manhattan, Lloyd's Bank (Multiplic), and lately at Financial Corp, having had significant participation in several successful M&A processes. During his 20-year career path in the financial sector, he has established a well consolidated network of valuable people in important places. Today he is considered one the most talented financial services headhunters in Brazil , providing his services to clients like : Goldman Sachs, Standard Bank , Nossa Caixa , Sicredi , TecBan , Unibanco, Banco Real , Banco Fibra, Grupo Votorantim , Advent Private Equity , among other important financial services groups.
