How do you introduce yourself to people you meet in business?

My current role with Sodexo USA is the National Recruitment Manager for Military Sourcing and Strategy. I am also assigned as the business segment recruiter specializing in our eXPress Service Solutions Brand of the Hospitals division. Remotely based in Baton Rouge, LA., I have worked in the hospitality industry, hospitals in various roles such as Human Resource Director, Training Manager, Director of Food and Nutrition Services. My passion in recruitment outreach is the support of our Veterans and the military community. I represent Sodexo for our internal network group SOAR, Sodexo Organization of disABILITIES Resources as the Sub-Committee Chair of Recruitment Veterans with disabilities. Fall 2009 Sodexo will launch its newest network group in support of our Military and Veteran employees. I will chair the Recruitment and Retention committee for the United States in this effort.

An ESGR Ombudsman for the State of Louisiana represent the support of USERRA for Service members and Employers. I regularly present to local Society of Human Resource Chapters about Veteran recruitment and support of those candidates with disabilities. I am a Marine Corps Veteran with Active and Active Reserve experience as a Marine Corp musician and Administrative Chief.
