I contacted the Chamber and don't think it will really help. It isn't a group plan within the Chamber, they supposedly give you a discount for being a member. We will have rates next week sometime. Our Cobra payment for 2 people is $1838 per month...
I had no idea! So there is a reason to belong to the Chamber. Since I work Nationwide, I don't get involved with the Chamber, but I will check into this. Thanks Pam!

What Makes Me a Smarter Recruiter?
First, I love people, second I love to help people. I never view my calls as cold...they are always warm. I am a realist. I don't try to make something that isn't. This is not a sales job to me! Are you a "Control Freak"?
I was just thinking about Control Freaks! If you are a control freak, recruiting is not the business for you. You have so little control over what people do and your business is all about people. The only thing I can control is me. My attitude, my beliefs, my passion. I have choices and control those choices about how hard I work, how I treat others, but a control freak, I'm not. Contingency Placement
I have been recruiting for almost 20 years. I have seen times good and bad and for the most part, we as recruiters are primarily the problem about wasting time. A new movie is almost out "He's just not that in to you", which I find to describe the truth of what happens. Thanks and Yes, I am in a couple of groups on LinkedIn and I have a couple of candidates from there, I was just reaching out to my recruiters to see if they know of any other avaenues that I might take.

In response to your questions, I only Recruit for my company here in Australia, we are a local company, although I am widening my companies reach everyday.
