How do you introduce yourself to people you meet in business?
After 5 1/2 years of partnering with many of the hottest VC Backed Start-Up & Technology Co's in NYC, I'm coming home to Boston! I'll be taking a brief hiatus (surfing trip and a stop in Montego Bay for Jamaica's 50th anniversary), then starting with Winter Wyman's New England Software Technology Practice. Having been in existence for 40+ years, WW is the Largest Executive Recruiting Firm in New England. Our NE Software practice has a combined 60+ years of industry experience and I'm excited to be getting my feet on the ground in the City Jenn, Schooner (our 7 month old lab) and I call home. I'm looking forward to continuing my work with those VC's, Start-ups and candidates who are seeking new ways to disrupt the way we work and live. For those current candidates and clients I'm partnering with in NYC, I'll be reaching out to you to discuss my transition and introduce you to a member of my team.

My candidate service is structured to provide you a mature, professional, and confidential method for exploring the job market. At the outset, we will discuss your priorities and marketing/branding (professional, social media etc.). As I introduce you to my business partners, we will discuss interview strategy, interview feedback and salary negotiations. Once we connect, I view the partnership as lifelong vs. transactional. I’m here to help you in anyway that I can as a true career partner.

Every hire is critical to a company’s growth trajectory and success. Without a consistent pipeline of top talent to tap into, great ideas can't translate to great companies. This has everything to do with the fact that a Top 5% employee has a significantly more profound impact on an organization. My client service focuses on identifying these top performers and assessing whether their core skill-set and personality traits fit with your need.

For those that are using LinkedIn to have an on going discourse with your connections, one of the hidden gems is their 'signal' feature. Basically, the feature allows you to navigate the status stream more specifically then what you can do on your home page. For any of your connections (2nd connections etc.), you can pinpoint conversations/shares/status updates based upon key words, location, etc. (ie. CEO in Greater Atlanta Area). You can find it under 'News' up on the top menu. Is anyone…
