I'll make this quick: Temp to Direct is a bad choice. It's a "we really want to hire someone, I think, but it would be great if we didn't have to make a firm decision - so let's roll a few unemployed people through here and see if someone knocks it out of the park."

Not a day goes by that I don't get an email or two letting me know someone appreciated the forms available in the Recruiting Library. It's a project well worth my time and effort - to give back to the community.

I must admit - I lose perspective at times. I have a home office, loyal team members working in their own offices and plenty of opportunity to pursue my destiny each day on my own terms.

This is not another rant. Rather - I'm really hoping to have a discussion about the trend we're all seeing here AND what WE can do about it.
I've retired my "Nice Ad" pic for a while, though it seems more and more appropriate of late. I'd rather see if the non-self promoters, the non-syndicate posters, the veteran community here BLAST THIS junk off the front page with a few great discussions. I really can't stand it any more. Can you?

Yes I've brought this up in the past. Yes - I am still P.O.d by the idea.
I am SICK AND TIRED of writing a reply only to find out my comment is now under some sort of consideration. This is usually (almost always) some sort of ad/marketing/follow these links type of post.
Shouldn't there be some sort of indicator on the blog itself letting us know our comments may (or most likely may not) be approved by the blog writer?
