Job Boarders

I'm a ten year veteran of the online job board industry. Recently I launched several new green job boards that represent the future of renewable energy jobs. Whether your'e looking for solar jobs, wind jobs, biofuel jobs, geothermal jobs, sustainability jobs or leed certified jobs, these sites are the answer for finding or posting green jobs.

My sites also target the local job market in the Northeast. Find and post CT jobs, NY jobs, MA jobs and RI jobs. After all, all recruiting is local.

Niche job boards: how to find them

Much has been written about the big 3 job boards as a place to find work. But those sites are just a small slice of the available job market. Recruiting today is all about location and quality of hire.

Thats why these niche sites are so popular. Many charge much less (for job postings) than the big boards and deliv… Continue

Creative ways to pimp your job description

If you write a lousy job description, chances are you'll get a lousy response rate. Having run my own local job boards for the past 10 years I cant tell you how many times I've seen bad job descriptions.

Job postings should inspire people to apply, not the opposite. The branding you place on these 'mini-stories' should mirror your corporate culture and promote your company as a great place to work.

How do you do that? He… Continue

That was a great video from 1 to 30. You gave me some great insight and the idea about the billboards will be put to good use at our competitors expense.
