What are recruiters looking for in an ATS?

Bullhorn is doing some very interesting things that we're going to announce over the next week. I'm really interested in hearing from the community what recruiters are looking for in an ATS today - more so from the perspective of how important they view a CRM and it's integration with email, especially Microsoft Outlook. How can we improve that experience? What's missing in your basic ATS today?
